Hi,
I have a case where server in Singapore and the User in Japan.
The user mainly use perspective and they complain about performance is slow when connect to server, open excel in the application.
I have searched it but mainly is cube performance, web performance.
Any checking for perspective performance beside check the WAN?
I have
1.change all the sheet become DBRW/DBSW.
2.Make sure that the SUBNMs in your sheets utilize a named subset
3.Use manual calculation on workbooks.
4.only 2 cube link is used.
appreciate for the feedback.

Re: TM1 perspective performance
There's no getting away from the fact that the Perspectives client communication over a WAN to a TM1 server is chatty and slow.
Alternatives:
1. Use TM1 web as the client access
2. Use Citrix or some other remote solution (i.e. where the client remotes into an Excel session located at least on the same LAN as the server).
3. IBM CAFE (only for 10.2, very new).
