Hi,
I am trying find out if Cognos Express version 9.5 is compatible with powerpoint?
I wanted to create reports from TM1 that I could link directly in powerpoint so would refresh when updated to save copying and pasting in - is this possible?
Thanks

Re: TM1 Cognos Express and Powerpoint
Cognos Exporess is neither compatible or incompatible with Powerpoint. Microsoft Excel sheets, however, can be linked into Powerpoint. Since Xcelerator (part of CE) is an add-in to Excel, that's your path.

I seem to remember that Executive Viewer (ie Advisor in Cognos Express) had good integration with Powerpoint. May be worth looking at that as well.tomok wrote: Since Xcelerator (part of CE) is an add-in to Excel, that's your path.

Tomok can't any of the report writer reports be linked in to Powerpoint? or does that need Cognos for MS office? If it does I'm guessing it doesn't hook in to Express?

Good point Mr Waters. If nothing else you could try embedding html code.stephen waters wrote:I seem to remember that Executive Viewer (ie Advisor in Cognos Express) had good integration with Powerpoint. Re: TM1 Cognos Express and Powerpoint
The OP specifically said "TM1 reports", that's why I didn't mention the other component possibilties. My interpretation of that means cube views and/or TM1Web sheets.
