This thread reminded me of a question that I was asked by a user just a day or two ago. As part of our move (finally) from 9.0 32 but to 9.5.2 64 bit we're deploying Web.
And the user did ask me this... is there any way to automatically launch the subset editor in Advanced mode since most of the time she needed to switch it to that mode anyway.
And I thought "Hmm, that's true of me as well. But I'm not aware of a way to do it. And I asked another experienced TM1 user who said "No, not that I'm aware of".
And, naturally, we consulted the documentation, as all who ask questions on the Forum do, and found no such option.
The only reason that I can think of for this is that Web is hardly the speediest application on the planet to start off with and having the subset editor open in Advanced mode could slow it down even more.
So what do you think?
