Perspective - Backward Compatibility

Hi,

My TM1 perspective hanging when connecting from the latest version of TM1 to the lower version. We have been recently migrated to 10.1 and our old TM1 9.1 is still active, when i tried to connect from 10.1 to 9.1, through perspective, perspective is hanged and unable to load either of the TM1 server. Every time I am updating tm1p configuration file AdminHost parameter and restarting the perspective. Some time it loads the latest TM1 server, some time my excel itself is getting corrupted and need to re-install.

Any solution for this?

Only connecting older clients to newer servers is supported; the other way round is not and can casue any number of issues, including crashes and hangs. This info would have been easy to find using the Search functionality as the subject tends to crop up on a regular basis.
