In order to test new version 10.2 beta version i installed it on one of the test servers.
I went on with default installation which includes installing
i) Admin Server
ii) Application server (new feature in 10.2)
iii) Other Sample Servers
I know TM1 is compataiable with lower version client and higher version server . I used it previously with 9.5.1 (client) to 9.5.2 (server)
i am able to connect to the TM1 server from client when i login manually on test servers ( TM1 client & TM1 server are on same version 10.2 ) where as when i try to configure from other machince using adminhost i cannot see any available servers in drop down even though TM1 server is up and running on test server.
i have TM1 10.1 .000 client installed on my location machince when i try to configure 10.2 TM1 Server installed on test server name in adminhost (file - options -admin host)
and try to connect i am not able to see any available servers in drop down
i included ClientVersionMinimum = 9.4.10305 & ClientVersionPrecision in config file but no luck.
is there any thing that i need to configure or look into please advice .
i am using Windows server 2008R2 .

First of all you should be very wary about posting anything about version 10.2 while it is in beta testing. Although you haven't given away anything in the way of new features; IBM can still (understandably) be very awkward about anyone talking about beta products in any sense.
Ignoring the fact it is 10.2, I would suggest trying to see if you can log onto tm1web from your local station. If so, it is possibly the fact that you have got a firewall enabled on the 10.2 server that perspectives/architect are unable to navigate through.
Other than that there is the obvious one of - are you positive that you are redirecting it to the correct server?
And of course as IBM would tell you, your first port of call with issues found in Beta testing should be to contact IBM themselves. It is possible that they have done something to cock up the backwards compatibility in the newest version.
Cheers,
Declan

I don't think IBM policies allow you to do that on a public forum as per what Declan has already said.Jodha wrote:if we have any resultion on this i will keep you posted.
