Hi,
Me and my friend have the same version of TM1, the same OS, but in is computer "views" do not work - he can't retrieve the view, what maybe the reason?
Thanks,
Rafal

Re: View in TM1 not working
It could be one of many reasons.
Are you logging on to the the same server, as the same user? Assuming you're not, then are the views public or private? Does your friend have security rights to read the views?
Are you using perspectives or TM1Web as a client?
Remember only admins can create public views, so if he's not an admin, and no-one has created any public views, then he won't see any, but he should still be able to create private views.

So, you've copied and pasted the whole data directory? How are you starting the server? Is it remote or local?
I have to say the details of 2.5 have mostly gone from my ageing brain. Seriously (yes, seriously again), you do need to look for an upgrade or some different software.
