Which is the better tool for brand/product profitability analysis and forecasting(Hyperion Planning vs. Cognos TM1)
And i would like to know the IBM Cognos TM1 strongness areas vs Hyperion Planning.

Firstly this is a TM1 forum so you may get slightly tilted point of view, secondly I think this question has been asked before, if you search you may find your answer. Otherwise I recommend that you visit one of the many sites that compares these things,

My vote would be TM1 of course. If you type Hyperion in the search box (its the box with search in it with search written next to it on a button, top right) you'll get many posts, all of which say TM1 rules!
Seriously though there are a few good discussions of the pros and cons you'll find.
TM1 still wins though
