Hi,
I am connecting to a remote server through CITRIX and accessing TM1 server. But it is very slow. I believe that CITRIX is using local Workstation's RAM and TM1 objects also using local workstation RAM, please correct me if i am wrong.
In the remote server we have TM1 10.1.1 with full installation. But TM1 is not installed in my Work station.
My workstation configuration:
RAM capacity is 3GB.
Processor Intel Core i5 @2.50Ghz
Operating System Windows XP
If i need to upgrade my workstation's RAM capacity, then what is the size?
Thanks in advance.
Pradeep

Re: RAM Capacity to Load TM1 through CITRIX
1. Have you tried accessing another application via Citrix? Say, Excel without TM1 loaded. If so, is that slow?
2. If everything is slow, then you probably have a Citrix and/or bandwidth problem.
3. If only TM1 is slow, then you have a TM1 problem. What's the speed like if you are on the local LAN? Can you test this?

The most obvious question is what's the proximity and latency on the LAN/WAN of the Citrix server to the TM1 server?

Re: RAM Capacity to Load TM1 through CITRIX
I would suggest getting in touch with CITRIX Administrator responsible for the CITRIX server. He should be able to identify the root-cause and allocate more memory share/block for TM1.
