Hello, товарищи (spell: tovarischi - fellows, colleagues)!
Is in tm1 9.5.2 any way to create cube directly from .xls or .csv file? I have ordinary spreadsheet with two dimensions: vertical - list (1, 2, 3.. etc), horizontal - attributes/measures (Region, Number of citizens, Type of transmitter.. etc). Second, horizontal, dim has about 50 elements. First, vertical, dim has abt 10 000 elements. I can't find a way to force tm1 to use first string as element names.
I tried to create cube - 2 dimensions with only one element in each, but still has no progress.
PS: Excuse me for my English.

It seems the functionality you are talking about is more or less exactly what is offered by Cognos Insight.
