Dear all,
My first post on this forum.
I created a map in TM1 (names reports).
In this map I create 11 views, (all connected to one database)
I did this last week and had no problems with opening those views.
Since yesterday 8 of the 11 views has no database connection anymore. The first 3 reports works fine but report 4 till 11 shows an * above the view.
When I reconnect to the database again the view shows me the standard layout and not the one I specially build.
I appreciate if some one can tel me what happens? (and more helpful how to solve this problem.)
Update 12:20... by restoring the backup the problem solved.
Some other info... the views corrupted after creating a canvas of those 11 views!
Regards,
J. Donkers

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.
I'm a little confused about the terminology you are using, when you say "map" what are you referring too? It's not something we would normally use to refer to a TM1 object...
Same comment for canvas.
Are you using another product to review the TM1 data?
Cheers,

Re: view lost database connection
I think the OP might be using Executive Viewer. My glass ball is showing me some digits: 9.5.0.0.2765.
I think this might be the version number.

We don't cover Executive Viewer on this forum. Executive viewer has it own forum:
http://www.evusers.org/
We do cover some EV questions but only when connecting to TM1.
