Hi,
I'm currently using TM1 version 2.5 (don't ask why...). I'm running into a problem... I'm able to upload with the current data, but for some reason, I can't browse the Cube (with the newly uploaded data). Has anyone had such an experience before? I need to browse the cube and verify the upload before I save it. So browsing the cube is kind of a necessary step. Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: can't browse cube
When you say you "can't browse the cube", what specifically do you mean? I don't know 2.5 but is your problem, say
- opening the cube
- navigating dimensions
- calculation refuses to work
What's the hurdle that's not being jumped?
I'm sorry, I have to ask. Why???!

Re: can't browse cube
As far as my ageing brain can recall, there wasn't an cube (er, table) explorer as such in 2.5. You should be able to slice from the dimensions pop-up in excel tho'. Of course, this may be completely wrong - it's been a long time!

Re: can't browse cube
The whole of 2.5 was run within Excel - no separate Server Explorer program. You could do a browse but it looked like you were in an Excel window (sort of). Unfortunately, I have no idea why you wouldn't be able to do this, any error messages occurring?

OMG. What a blast from the past. You are not working with Hasmukh Patel at TI Group by any chance ?
From what I remembered, I think you have to browse a control cube }TBL_LST or something like that to see the access level of your particular cube.
Good luck
Ken
