Can you please clarify whether this is in fact now a Commercial tool, as in one that you'll be expecting payment for? I haven't downloaded it to look at it and there is no description of it in either link. However if it's not a commercial product (as you indicated that the original one wasn't), the above post probably doesn't belong in Commercial. But if it is, you shouldn't have been plastering links to it through every tangentially-related post in the forum.

The install dialogue says it's eval software with a cost after (I think) 2 weeks. No price visible though.

Speaking personally, I don't think saying you are going to charge for the software without saying how much is acceptable.

Me either, but I can think of a certain big blue company which operates that way {cough}.

However what's definitely not acceptable is the plethora of other posts that were made, sometimes dredging up threads from years ago to do so, which are directly in violation of the following policy:
- If a user posts about a problem that they're having and you think that your product or service can fix it, please link them to your post in the Commercial forums. "Boosting" your product in the main forums isn't acceptable.
I'm going to go through and obliterate all of the other posts outside of this one.

Hi All,

I am getting some mails saying the software installs & gives following error:

"Software Initialization Error!!!"
"It seems there is some Registry error".

To avoid getting this error, please install this software with Admin rights.

I did this and still it does not work.
I got into email contact with krishnadixit to try and solve it. He was very helpful but in the end it still does not work.
On the laptop of my colleague the Documenter works. Not sure if there is any difference with my laptop.
I did not know the registry of my laptop was experiencing problems but I thought I's just let others know in case they encounter the same problem.
We are fine to test it on 1 PC so I did not bother trying to find a solution.

Hi there,

is there any other documentation tool for TM1?

I tried this one, that was working, but I do not want to pay for it.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Andy,

Most likely this is not what you are looking for but I do find it useful when talking to users about the complexity of our systems:

Unfortunately, on our larger models you need a magnifying glass when the output is printed onto A3 paper!
