Hi All,
I am encountering this problem : Could not register chore '<name>': Error #178: APIFunctionFailed whenever I try to save a new chore.
Also, in the event viewer, there's an error: tm1sdx64 error: 0, E13)Error loading rules for cuve "}ChoreSecurity" Element not found "Chore_1".
I have deleted this chore by right clicking on the Chore_1 then delete. But I'm surprised it's still looking for this one. I'm not sure if because of this, I am now not able to create a new chore.
By the way, I'm using TM1 Perspectives 9.4
Please help!
Thanks

- Make sure that you have Admin permissions;
- Make sure that the chore has processes; I can't remember whether you can register a chore that was created with TM1ChoreCreateEmpty without attaching processes to it but it wouldn't surprise me if you can't;
- Make sure that you aren't trying to register it with an invalid name or the name of an existing chore.
Random thoughts in regard to security:
- It sounds like you've created a rule which explicityly refers to Chore_1. If that's the case then deleting the chore does not delete the reference to it in your rules. This is the same for any objects on the server; if you have a rule that refers to them, you need to manually change it if you delete that object.
