TM1 Web login grayed out

Post by swaterbury »

I have a TM1 web server on a seperate box from my Tm1server. I have confirmed that I can access and login to a sample server on the web server. When I change my admin host to the tm1 server I get the correct running tm1 servers on the 2nd box, but no matter which one I select the login box is grayed out. I am using integrated login type = 2, running 9.5. Confirmed that the correct ports are open on the tm1 server. Any ideas who be greatly appreciated!

I would suggest that this has something to do with your integrated login rather than this being a bug. Have you tried changing the security back TM1? Are you able to login?

I have moved this to the main forum as it doesn't sound like a bug, If if it turns out that way I'll move it back.

First of all, are you sure integrated login works? Meaning, does it work in Architect or Perspectives. If it does then the problem is in your Web installation or setup. Are you using NTLM or Kerberos? Did you follow the very explicit directions in the Operations Manual for how to configure TM1Web to work with each of these different approaches? Look in the Operations Guide for 9.5.2, starting on page 232. There are VERY EXPLICIT steps that must be followed before you will get this to work in TM1Web, especially when you have the web component and TM1 server on different boxes. It is much easier to get this to work when on the same box.
