VM memory usage shown in VM against Task Manager Usage shown

I am having an on-going debate with IT and need to be able to prove that we need more RAM for Cognos Express TM1. We are on ver9.5. 64bit on 2008 server.
Currently we have 16GB showing in Taskmanager of which we are using 14.6GB as part of the TM1sd.exe process. The IT guys show me we are using max. 25 % of memory according to the VMware memory usage graphs.They want me to prove I need more.

What can I show them in the VM environment that will prove that I need more memory allocated?

If I remember rightly you need to change Task Manager so that it shows Page Memory size which is different to memory used. That should give a better indication of all memory used by TM1. This was back a few years since I've had to do this so apologies if this no longer applies,
