Generic consolidation not working in TM1 9.5

Post by slique-cya »

I have a slight problem which is giving me a headache. Basically I am feeding cube1's figures to cube2. This works fine i.e. the rule pulls the numbers correctly and the feeders are feeding correctly - checked by using the 'check feeders' functionality and by supressing zeroes. I am feeding a couple of measures, say 4 in consolidation1 and 6 in consolidation2, into cube2. The problem is consolidation2 is not aggregating at all. I've even changed the rollup which these measures in consolidation2 rollup but even on that new rollup still refuses to aggregate these measures. When you trace calculation on consolidation2, it does not show you the measures that reside within it whereas consolidation1 does.

Is there something that I am perhaps missing?

P.S. I have also compared the rules and feeders of the measures in consolidation1 and consolidation2 and everything seems to be in order. I have even tried the ConsolidateChildren() rule and still not luck.

Help!!

How do you expect anyone to help you if you're not even providing the code that isn't working?

Please describe briefly the dimensionalities of both cubes and show us either both rule files, or just the relevant sections if the rule files are too big.

Two possabilities
The weighting of the elements is zero
You have a rule that is impacting the behaviour of the consolidation.
