TM1 contributor 9.5.2. & Cognos BI Security & Single sign-on

Hello,

I have a problem implementing single sign-on in TM1 contributor. I have followed all the instructions to integrate the Cognos BI security with TM1 Contributor. I have deployed all the requested files to Cognos BI , set the gateway and dispatcher (they are on the same server ) in contributor for specific TM1 server, but after running a contributor this is what it happens:

- i can log into contributor (it is redirected through Cognos BI to tm1 contributor)
- after selecting specific icon, for example import application or developing new application contributor starts loading ( ie says: waiting for "address of tm1 admin server") and nothing happens.
- websphere stops working (I have to restart it to log into contributor again),...

Any ideas?

I am using websphere community edition and the only difference is that I am loging in to contributor by using port 8080 and not 9300.

Any firewalls or ports that might be blocked? It looks like you said that its an all in one server install but are there any DNS issues between servers if this isn't the case? We found that TM1 always wanted to resolve an IP to a name which can be problematic.

Also have you looked at the security of the BI folders and TM1 folders? Is it possible the folder security is blocking the request and web sphere is timing out?
