An error code 138 in Cognos 10 just keeps on prompting.
I guess it's because of the TM1 username and password that I saved to be auto-remembered in Internet Explorer. The problem is, I changed the password in TM1 Architect->Security->Clients, so technically the credentials saved in IE won't work anymore.
After I changed the password in TM1 Architect, I logged out. Then when I tried to log in again, a box with "The Maximum Number of Log In has been Exceeded" message prompted.
Then, my COGNOS 10 user informed me that the "SystemClientExceedMaximumLogonNumber" message prompted several times in IE.
These were the actions I did. But still, the error prompts:
1. Restarted the COGNOS BI.
2. Unchecked AutoComplete password and username in IE->Tools->Internet Options->Content->AutoComplete.
-- I'm expecting this would be the best solution, so I'll be able to show the credential text boxes (username and password) in COGNOS BI in IE. Because when set as auto-remembered, the username and password text boxes don't prompt right?!
3. Cleared the password in TM1 Architect.
I haven't tried to restart my TM1 servers and the machine in which they reside. Should I try this?
Does anyone know what I am missing? Please help.
Thanks a lot!
