Hi
I have heard among TM1 users, that with the arrival of Excel 2010 all users must upgrade their TM1 to the latest TM1 V9.5.2. How much truth in this? Anything to support this statement?
regards,
Abi

If you look in the FAQ Thread you'll find links to IBM pages which list actively supported software environments. There you'll find that the only TM1 version which officially supports Excel 2010 (and then only the 32 bit version) is 9.5.2. That doesn't mean that 9.5.2 is the only one that will work with Excel 2010, but it does mean that if you deploy Excel 2010 with an earlier version of TM1 and you run into problems, you won't get much help from IBM Support.Abinaya wrote: I have heard among TM1 users, that with the arrival of Excel 2010 all users must upgrade their TM1 to the latest TM1 V9.5.2. Of course, no-one is holding a gun to your head to upgrade to Excel 2010. I have every version from 97 to 2007 on my notebook, and my preferred version is still 2003.
