I'm not bad in Cognos Planning and I'm learning facilities of TM-1. We have such thing in many Cognos Planning applications - when user chooses an element from a list (it can be months or type of calculation) and Cognos calculates depending on the user's choice.
It makes putting D-list in an element of the main D-list.
As I've understood it is impossible to make it in TM-1. What is the usual way to solve the problem? Especcially it is interesting how I can make it in Contributor client.

Before posting question such as this it would be a good idea to familiarise yourself with the product and the documentation. The feature you are looking for in TM1 is called "picklists" and is available from 9.5.
