Hi,
A Chore that runs a series of TI processes to update dimensions and update cube data runs successfully when we run it using the client in the server using remote desktop connection.
However, when we run it using the Perspectives client in a client machine using the same admin user account, it hangs and does not finish for hours causing no one being able to use TM1 and we had to kill TM1 service and start again.
What might be the reason for this? Any clues?
Thanks in advance for replies.
Regards,
TI Process Hangs

No idea. I suggest you go nuts with "asciioutput" and spit out lots of debug data to try to isolate the offending area of code.
Note you'll need different csv files for the prolog, metadata, data and epilog tabs (as well as separate processes) otherwise they'll overwrite each other.

may be worth using performance monitor on the server and looking for bottlenecks that way
