Enterprise Planning Version Question

Guys,

Do any of you know when version 9 of Enterprise planning is scheduled for release and will it be based on TM1 rather than Adaytum?

Also do any of you know when support for version 7 id due to run out?

7.x series support ran out last year
8.1 and 8.1 MR1 are until April 30, 2011

Next release:
no official announcements. there's one rumored to be in the works. I don't think they are changing the backend engine - those kinds of changes seem to be going into the TM1 side of the product.

next release won't be called as 9. It is a surprise
there are enhancements in Cognos Planning in the next release, but there is no structural changes towards TM1.
I would expect it to be released this year, but all depends on next release of BI, I suppose.
