Dear All,
Is it possible to send numbers to calculate in Excel, then send the calculated result into TM1 cube. Can we specify Excel rules, and a set of variables in TM1 rules editor(or elsewhere apart from TM1 web) ?
I would like to utilize the build-in function of Excel, one which TM1 does not incorporate.
Thank you.

There's probably not much that you can do in Excel that you can't do in TM1 with a little ingenuity, whether by rules or TI. But if you really want to do it that way, just use the DBS or DBSW function to send the result of the calculation up to the cube.Goatship wrote:Is it possible to send numbers to calculate in Excel, then send the calculated result into TM1 cube. You cannot, however, have TM1 rules reading from an Excel spreadsheet... and in the vast majority of cases you wouldn't need to. As I said, most of Excel's functions can at least be simulated via rules.
