9.5 upgrade from 9.0- do excel clients need reinstall?

We are in the process of upgrading/testing move from 9.0 to 9.5. Do we need to upgrade each excel TM1 client to see new 9.5 server? We have a development and a production server. We just upgraded the development server to 9.5 but I can't see that development server any more in excel network connect list.

You need to install the 9.5 client software. TM1 has some interoperability across versions but 9.0 to 9.5 is a bridge too far.

Thanks David - how about the other way around? Can I install the new 9.5 client on a PC and see both the old 9.0 server and the 9.5 server?

No, as per the FAQ thread heading Older Clients Versions Can Connect To Newer Server, Not Vice Versa.
