We installed TM1 9.5 on AIX 5.3. We installed an Oracle 10G client and where able to query our Oracle Database from the server. We added a line in our tm1s.cfg file to read: ODBCLibraryPath= path to the odbc .so file as per IBM Support.
When we try to browse for an ODBC datasource we get this error: "An error occurred while retrieving datasource names from the server".
I checked the tm1 log file and found this entry:
348 DEBUG 2010-03-09 21:21:39.313 TM1.SQLAPI SharedLibHandle == NULL, no ODBC access
Does anyone have any information about this or knowledge on connecting to Oracle using AIX with TM1 9.5?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
