Tm1 Web - Install dotNet 1.1 SP1

Morning,
I've been banging my head against this one for an age now.
I'm trying to set 9.0 TM1 Web up on Windows Server 2003 64 bit SP2. One of the pre requistes for TM1 Web is to have dotNet 1.1 SP1 installed.
The install of dotNet 1.1 proceeds without issue.
The SP1 install goes badly wrong.

When I launch the exe, I get this message

TM1 Web Err 1.JPG (16.02 KiB) Viewed 1732 times

Pressing cancel gives me the following

TM1 Web Err 2.JPG (24.86 KiB) Viewed 1732 times

Now obviously I have had a good old google around looking for this issue and the closest I can see of a similar issue is here. Strangely I could not get this to work, but I tried again as I was writing this and it appeared to work this time.

Can anyone tell me how to confirm that I'm really running dotNet 1.1 SP1?
EDIT I've foundthe version and I can confirm that the above process worked. So this is just a FYI for everyone in case anyone else hits the problem.
