TM1Web.log: Failed to parse existing xlm blob

Can anyone shed any light on this error:

2010-01-22 13:53:22,566 [1] ERROR Applix.TM1.Web.WebControls.CubeViewer.TM1CubeView - Failed to parse existing xml blob file when reading for view properties: Unexpected end of file has occurred. The following elements are not closed: ViewProperties. Line 1, position 169.

We're seeing this frequently in the tm1web.log file and users are complaining of general web spottiness.

I've cleared out the files under the Inetpub\TM1WebEx\ExcelSheet directory to force the xml files to be rebuilt but it hasn't seemed to make a difference.
