Talk about walking down memory lane...

Post by Alan Kirk »

Even though I no longer go there I still subscribe to the e-mail list of... that other Forum.
Someone just posted this over there:
What are the TM1 Clients software and servers provided by Cognos?
I guess Applix was providing Perspectives, Architect, Web Client and Developer's Studio as Clients and TM1, TM1 Web/Integra, TM1 Integra Web Server as Servers.
Integra??? Seriously???

In the End Of Life statement released with 9.0, it was said:
TM1 Integra is not supported in TM1 9.0. The TM1 installation has
been modified to remove Integra from the list of available products.
One can only speculate on whether Integra actually HAD a life which it could reach the end of, though this may be a more deeply philosophical discussion than this Forum can support.

I still have "Integra" installed, it was part of v8.1.8 but we can't remove it because the IT Crowd stuffed up the package for 9.0 and its needed for some activeX things it missed
If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator.
