I've spent significant time experimenting, but I cannot figure it out.
Is there a way for me to filter out elements in an MDX View that are rule defined?
Recognize an easy work around would be to create an attribute but was wondering if there’s an automated way.
Thank You!

I would be interestd to know exactly what your experiments were.
MDX view is no different from traditional view in this respect. There's no way to filter out rule calculated cells versus consolidatiosn or simple numeric cells.

Re: Create MDX View To Suppress Rule-Defined Cells
Hi Adam
If you submit your MDX using the Rest API, then in the ODATA query you can retrieve something that tells you whether the cell is rule calculated. However, I do not know a way of doing it in MDX alone.
