View Transaction Log not working Windows 10 Office 2016

Hi All

I just got a new laptop, which has Windows 10 (64bit)and Excel 2016 (32bit), and is 64bit

We are running TM1 10.2.0 and I have noticed that within Perspectives I cannot launch the "View Transaction Log...", when right-clicking on the TM1 Instance.

My old Windows 7, Excel 2010 worked, although occasionally I'd have to register the msmask32.ocx

I've checked to ensure it's not opening in stealth mode, and it is definitely not open, and for good measure I have also registered the masmask32.ocx, just in case, but still no luck.

I am able to "View Message log...", and other items in the menu, but not "View Transaction Log..."

What could be causing this issue and has anyone found a cure ? Is there something different in Windows 10 that I need to do ?

Taking a wild guess here but have you got a TM1 license file somewhere on your system? Try remove/rename it.
All other Admin functionality working as expected?

Is your msmask32.ocx in C:\Windows\SysWOW64 or C:\Windows\System32?

I do vaguely remember having exactly the same problem when upgrading from XP or Vista to Win 7 back in 2010 or 2011. But as to what the exact solution was I don't know. Un-regestering and re-registering some .ocx file does some familiar though.

Success !

The msmask32.ocx was in the folder "C:\Windows\SysWOW64" but not in "C:\Windows\System32". I copied it there and then re-registered it and it now works.
