Hello,
We are wondering wether we are implementing "real" attributes dimensions ou virtual dimensions.
Do you know if Cognos BI is able to see and explore virtual dimensions ?
Thanks in advance

By virtual dimension you mean hierarchies right? Yes, those are accessible in Cognos BI when exploring data from a TM1 cube.

Thanks for your answer.
I was also wondering if, on those virtual hierarchies, we can assign security ?
Let's imagine I create a virtual hierarchy allowing me to display and analyze my products by color. Is it possible to give some users access to only red products ?

Yes, you can set up hierarchy specific security within PAW. Watch out though if your element security for the dim has rules, you'd want rules that apply to consolidations to be made to be hierarchy specific lest they apply to all hierarchies.
