Cube Views

Post by Peter Picazio »

How do I access private cube views? I am the the TM1 Administrator and have full admin rights. Is there a folder where i can see private views that users have created?

You're looking for the view files in the folder structure? Your version is noted as PA 2.0: "..\data\Planning Analytics\%username%\..."

You can't view a user's private views like you can a public view in the cube viewer while the view is private, you need to make it public first.

Private cube views are viewable only by the user that created it. Unless...

You manually copy the view (.vue) files from the user's subfolder in the Data directory into your subfolder. Moreover, if the private view contains private subsets, the subets will have to be copied as well (.sub files)

You'll either have to restart the TM1 service or log out and log back in to see it.
