Cube Drill - PAX - bug (And workaround)

Post by Herman Moller »

Hello All,

We have been doing some work on Cube Drills in PAX and have noticed the following bug :

If you have a cube drill and only have a row defined in the cube view it will return the right view but will be blank.

To get a drill through to work in PAX you need to have at least 1 dimension defined in the row and 1 dimension defined in the columns and then it will return values.

Regards

This could well be because the primary axis in MDX (and the Rest API?) is columns. Unless there’s a dimension defined on columns then it’s not a valid view in the MDX.
Please place all requests for help in a public thread. I will not answer PMs requesting assistance.
