Planning Analytics Administration agent

Post by Paul-TM1 »

Hi Gurus,
I recently found a new service installed after upgrading to PA 2.0.6 but have not found any documentation on "Planning Analytics Administration agent". Can someone please explain what it is or provide link to documentation.
I found documentation on how to configure. I want to know what it does before configuring.

Thanks,
Paul.

Pretty sure that Planning Analytics Administration (PAA) is the new "ops console" part of PAW where you can monitor the behaviour of your hardware and TM1 databases.

Thanks Steve.

I think this works for Cloud. I remember reading something that this is available only in cloud and not on local.I am on PA 2.0.6 Local and I do not see the administration icon. Please let me know if I am wrong.

"Planning Analytics Administration agent" got installed and i found something here.

Much like the CAM option in the latest TM1 Cognos Configuration this appears to be a half-built feature that (at least for on-premise) doesn't do anything yet.
Please place all requests for help in a public thread. I will not answer PMs requesting assistance.
