Looks good so far.

You've still got that bit of text in there about user name import for CAM though.

Also, I would raise an issue saying that the link to raise an issue doesn't work, but the link to raise an issue doesn't work, so I can't. But it could just be the firewall here, so I won't yet.

Works fine from here. (Non-corporate network, no limitation on where I want to go on teh intrawebz until the government starts filtering it.)

Works fine from here: corporate network in UK.

Yep, access to the issues log is fine from home. I'll blame the client's network.

The client working great for me, will try to test out the agent later in the week. So far it's a nice improvement over the last version and definitely better than tm1top. It's a little laggy, but that could be due to the number of servers I'm monitoring (nine) or the distance between me and some of them (Florida to Sydney, Beijing, Paris, Munich, London, Singapore, Teipei, and San Francisco).

Have you considered a real bug/enhancement tracking system instead of Google Docs? I'd def prefer something a little more structured with tracking, email alerts, etc. There are some good, free options out there for web-based systems.

Morning Matt,

We can implement a bug tracking solution pretty quickly but I was keen to make it easy to add to with no signup required.
Whats the general consensus on this? Should we upgrade?

Hi Ben,

I appear to have installed everything OK (at least I get a statistics.db file in the correct place. However I can't get the syntax on this screen correct:

Could you advise?

Thanks

The syntax should simply require that you replace serverName with the name of the computer hosting the CubeSpy Agent. If CubeSpy agent is running on the same computer as CubeSpy Desktop you can also use "localhost" e.g "http://localhost:8081/".

If it says the connection can not be made you will need to confirm that CubeSpy Agent is running (Via Services under Administrative Tools), also you may need to add "CubeSpy Agent.exe" as an exception on your firewall.

Hey Matt,

Can you PM me some details around how you noticed it, or anything which may be related? I'll add it onto the issues list for you.

I'll need a little more information around this one also. Can you send me a PM of the finer details, versions, authentication mode on the server etc?

Thank you all for the feedback we will commence the next release development shortly.

Hi Ben,

Still using 1.5.6 beta and quite happy in general however there are a few bugs in particular which I would really like to know the status of in any commercial version:
- ???? displayed for some threads as client ID is never resolved
- Time (seconds) idle time/processing time counter is not updated if the processing activity is "in and out" between update frequency snapshots. Hence if view refreshes or data inserts are fast and not displayed then it looks like clients are logged in with excessive idle time when this is not actually the case
- Cancel thread "works" but if cancelling a ViewConstruct or ViewCellsValueGet then it also crashes the users Perspectives and Excel session whom the view belonged to. Cancel should be cancel not crash (if we cancel with Vizier or plain tm1top then the cancel is just a cancel)
