Does anybody know what the next number of Planning will be? Also does anybody know if Cognos are still aiming to put TM1 under the hud?

I know they are planning to have TM1 fully integrated with all Cognos Products by their next release

In partner a recent partner webex there were very strong indications that TM1 will be the "core OLAP technology" for all Cognos products.

IBM are pretty cagey about forward looking statements. You can PM me if you want to know off the record what was communicated but I'm not going to post any speculation out of respect for their safe harbour statements.
Cheers,

When I was visited by a couple of Iboglixians recently, they came straight out and said that.

(Although equally they had no idea that you couldn't roll back if you implemented 9.4 and it went pear-shaped, so take their advice for what it's worth...)

Went on the Cognos Planning training this week, no mention was made about any core engine merger (despite my enquiries ;) ).

Interesting bit of software... some great functions but I'd miss TI and rule statements... sort of.
