Re: We can’t load the visualization, because the associated data set isn’t available?
Yes, I have checked ports and using latest 64-bit Chrome. Now, I can reproduce the issue and almost sure it is still a bug since v49. PH20627 CAN'T LOAD THE VISUALIZATION BECAUSE ITS ASSOCIATED DATA SET ISN'T AVAILABLE https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/ibm-planning-analytics-pa-workspace-and-pa-micr...

Re: We can’t load the visualization, because the associated data set isn’t available?
No, upgrading into 11.1.6 with IF2 still doesn't work. Although it is not popping that error now, the chart is still not showing. It is always blank over VPN. Everything works fine within the company network. I am wondering if the VPN has filtered something for me in the backend.

Re: We can’t load the visualization, because the associated data set isn’t available?
Have you done the normal stuff of clearing browsers etc, restarting Docker, restarting services etc Yes, I have done but no luck. What version of CA are you using ? We initially had CA 11.1.6 but it had a bug on the SSL side of things which got fixed in IF002 ? Maybe worth a reboot there first, to ...

We can’t load the visualization, because the associated data set isn’t available?
Just found an issue over VPN, we are in PAL 2.0.9.1 and PAW 53. All charts can't be displayed in PAW and it is showing this error. But PAW is in the intranet, everything is fine.
Any idea?

Re: Another Bug when Copying Attributes between Hierarchies???
Hi, all
Looks like I have to run HIERARCHYUPDATEDIRECT function explicitly by the end of copying hierarchies to fix the issue. All good now. I have to admit I never use DIMENSIONUPDATEDIRECT function in the past. Probably I should follow the best practice to reduce the footprint in RAM.

Re: Another Bug when Copying Attributes between Hierarchies???
The DIMIX and ELEMENTINDEX functions both can't find the element. (always returns 0) But they work fine in the source hierarchy.

Another Bug when Copying Attributes between Hierarchies???
Hi, all I am trying to replicate hierarchies within one dimension. Process runs fine with everything replicated successfully but just with one unidentified issue for attributes(alias). With everything replicated from another hierarchy into default hierarchy, the Perspectives can't find the alias (ID...

Re: PAW information for PAX
Thanks for sharing. It would be useful if we can use python.scrumthing wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2020 7:33 am Sure. But don't expect much. A colleague of mine showed me the api.
Marius, are you here and do you hear our voice? Thanks.

I am interested in it. Could you share some more examples? I don't see any official documents to explain that.scrumthing wrote: ↑Wed Jul 08, 2020 11:41 am installing it just call the api (example: https://localhost:9012/pakate-agent/) on the tm1 server in a browser.

Re: Experience with PAW and its future prospects
I forced myself to use more in PAW and now I get used to it. To me, the only drawback is you can't simply hit 'ctrl + double C' to copy names from PAW, which is convenient in Perspectives but it is OK. :D And it is quite convenient to compare codes between the environments via PAW as you can simply ...

Re: Difference of Attribute Functions
One more question here. It look like "Caption" attribute can change the display name in PAW. But "Caption_Default" doesn't seem to be working in any aspect?

Difference of Attribute Functions
Hi, I am playing with all sorts of different attribute functions and I am lost. Could anyone share what you have found? Thanks. ATTRPUTS vs ELEMENTATTRPUTS ??? ATTRPUTS vs HIERARCHYATTRPUTS ??? ELEMENTATTRPUTS vs HIERARCHYATTRPUTS ??? It is so confusing as ATTRPUTS can use "dim:hier" forma...

Re: More info on TM1Project.json file
Further on control objects for tm1project files, it is not a big deal anymore. I can easily build the json file with extractions for all control objects from }Cubes, }Processes and }Dimensions dimensions. And they can be initialized into Git completely.

Re: More info on TM1Project.json file
The way IBM have conceptualized Git integration working is that each developer works on a separate branch, and each branch is essentially an individual copy of the entire TM1 server. Actually, I think the working mode should be working. Each branch doesn't have to be the copy of entire TM1 server. ...

Re: Managing TM1 database assets with Git
Hi, ykud Yes, I agree with the point that it is an API which some tools can build on. But the questions I have so far are 1. How to use Objects section in tm1project file rather than use Ignore section all the time to include/exclude objects? 2. How to use Pre/PostPull, Pre/PostPush, Dependencies/Pr...

Re: REST API: Variables info missing when deploy a TI process
I wouldn't recommend to re-invent the wheel as tm1py is already in place for you to use. If you compare your syntax with it, you would find some clues.
