Re: TSA_WINSERVICE is not Running

Check the username and logon being used by the service (right click on the Tm1 server in Services and select Properties, then the Log On tab). Make sure the account includes the domain name - e.g. thedomain\username, and that both password fields are correct.

Re: Adding New Dimension To A Cube

The short answer, I'm afraid, is no. You will need to create a new cube to include the additional dimension. If you have data in the existing cube you can load it to the new cube via TI, and then delete the old cube if required.

Re: Error while starting the Servicies.

Go to Services (Start, Administrative Tools, Services), then find the TM1 service for your server in the Services window. Right-click and open Properties, and select the Log On tab. Select "This Account" and make sure you use a logon account in the format domain/username and then enter the...

On the off-chance, you should check that calculation is set to manual in Excel (Tools, Options, Calculation in the Excel menu bar).

Re: Can we add one dimension into existing cube ?

The problem i'm facing with is that one dimension was missing when we built up cubes. How can i add dimension in these cubes now? The only way is to re-create the cubes? Pls help me to solve this issue. I'm afraid you will need to recreate the cubes, as you can't add a new dimension once a cube has...

Re: Should I go from 9.1.4 to 9.5.1 or 9.5.2???

I think the standard advice at the moment is to go to 9.5.1 unless you have a burning need for any of the 9.52 new features.

Re: Differences between $B$6, $B6,B$6 in excel sheet for cal

If you don't know this then this the wrong forum for you. I suggest a basic Excel course, or getting a manual - John Walkenbach's Excel 2007 Bible is one such, but there are (many) others. For your specific question you should google on Excel relative cell references.

Re: Automation Error when loading TM1p.xla

I've just had this error happen on a 2008 R2 server running Terminal Services (and yes it was painful). So just to add my tuppence to this thread, my fix was to uninstall and then reinstall the TM1 client - no automation error after a reboot. Deleting the .xlb files seemed to have no effect.

Re: Migrating to TM1 v9.5.1 or TM1 v9.5.2?

I guess the standard advice is not to put a new point release directly into production, but either do some substantial testing on it first or wait until other forum users have done so and reported on results. If you have to upgrade now, then 9.51 would seem to be the logical choice given it has a nu...

I can provide you with more details in the commercial section or in a private message.
Could you do it in the Commerical section then? I'd be interested to see some more detail.

Yes. Record a macro with F9 as the only keystroke, and you will see the code TM1 uses in the recorded macro. It does differ by version.

Re: RemoteApps and TM1

I don't know for sure, as we don't use Excel 2007, just 2003. I would imagine that the only problem that will show up is the one I'm hunting down here - namely the focus goes to the wrong window after having done, for example, a double-click on a SUBNM formula. No news on a fix, I'm afraid.

Re: 32bit TM1 on 64bit

As your TM1 is a 32 bit version is will not work/utilise the 64-BIt 4GB of RAM on the operating system. Correct. You would need the 64 Bit version of TM1 to use on a 64-Bit operating system. Also correct. It will depend on your licencing/maintenance agreement whether you can swap out the 32 bit wit...

Re: URGENT HELP! Error while updating dimension using TI

You can show the space, but TM1 will still see it as spaceless when it comes to using it. If you try and add the elements "no space" and "nospace" to a dimension manually you will get a duplicate element error, as you are attempting to save the same element twice as fas as TM1 is...
