Re: Specific suppression of TM1.Comm.SSL log entries
I'm glad that there is a way to suppress these messages (I have a customer who's getting currently tons of these messages), but does anyone know what's causing the (excessive amount) of these SSL write error messages? Michel Hi Michel, I've seen massive amount of these entries with AuditLogOn=T bes...

Re: Attribute as a Feeder !!!
you need to write the feeder in your attribute cube: '}ElementAttributes_Ess_Entities'
the feeder would then look like - depending on the order of your dimensions in the target cube:
['Rate'] => DB(targetcube,dim1, dim2,..., !Ess_Entities);

Re: TM1 Cube Package-Report development Issue
with your package you are connecting to a certain TM1 cube, not a certain view with zero suppression turned on or off. Cognos BI is flattening the cube and then putting it together again in the frontend. Cognos BI is even using a different MDX than TM1. If you need zero suppression this is out of th...

Hi Benoit,
if it is a mere find/replace in formulas issue in Excel it can be solved with some VBA. I could program it on Monday if you want. Please confirm.
Bon week-end, M.

Re: Adding Unique elements to a subset
Hi Walt, if your dates are ordered you could do the following: in Prolog add: # memorizes previous date, initialization only here sOrderDayPrev = ''; in Metadata tab no change. in Data tab add: IF(sOrderDay @<> sOrderDayPrev); SUBSETELEMENTINSERT (dimPeriod, subRef, sOrderDay, 1); sOrderDayPrev = sO...

Re: Access TM1 Cubes from a other MDX Client Tool
I wouldn't take for granted what SAP-(BO) pretends to deliver. BO had an interface to connect to AS2000 cubes in the past but it couldn't even read calculated members.... As for Microsoft I liked the OLE interface between SSAS and SSRS very much because it is so transparent. This may be working for ...

Re: While Loop Parent Counts with Component Delete
The issue I have is that when you delete an element from a consolidation then the element no longer has the same number of parents. During the while loop you are looking at the parent index which is changed if you delete the element from a consolidation. Is this a true statement? Yes, this is corre...

Re: TM1 Rule based facts not rolling up correctly in Cognos
There is a documented restriction in Cognos BI which may apply to your problem: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/c8bi/v8r4m0/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.swg.im.cognos.rdm_cr.8.4.1.doc/rdm_cr_id2314aggregation_TM1_data.html IBM books say "IBM Cognos 8 can run the calculation itself" - ...

Re: TM1 & CAFE
I did some prototyping with TM1 and CAFE but I didn't see any CAFE features that Perspectives as Excel frontend wouldn't bring along. Sometimes end users insist on the look and feel, OK. You need to be aware that with TM1 and CAFE you have to publish your cube first through Framework Manager whereas...

Re: Rule Issue
You may introduce two attributes for your division dimension. 'currency' (text) and 'exchange' (num), then input currencies and exchange rates in the attribute cube. You rule may look like the one below for all currencies except EUR: ['value', 'EUR'] = N: IF(DB('}ElementAttributes_BMR Sales - Divisi...

You could separate SKU's and price segment into two dimensions. Then create several hierarchies in the price segment dimension for each year.

Re: TM1Member null values
it seems that the filter() function requires a static value on the right side of the comparison equation. You may need an alternative approach using attributes. Since you're already importing your valid [template_d] members into a cube, you could do a check against your "CES-HealthCareTemplates...

Re: Simple Star Schema Question re: nested facts
From SSAS 2005 onwards it is possible to create a cube with several measure groups and varying dimensionality based on one fact table each. The Adventure Works example is very good in this context and I suppose it comes close to your requirements.

Hello, In an active form I'm using an action button with process call. The process has several parameters. When saving and reopening the active form, all parameters are merged in one "Name" field and values also. Is this a known issue? Thanks in advance for any hint! I'm using 9.5.1 /Excel...
