FYI,
Install FP3 directly on top of 9.4MR1 Tm1 web install + Tm1 client did the trick.

All fine now.

The only way i can think of would be to test earlier in the process on the components of the mdx statement. In some cases you migth find more reliable to build dynamicaly the subset without using mdx as well. ( i.e. using a loop to collect elements and then test on subset size at the end). Not sure ...

Are you sure the file extension is ".xdi" precisely ? There is another extension for recovery file generated automaticaly, i don't remember the details of it (xid, idx...) but that might be what the issue is ? Unfortunatly, all i remember is beeing confused by something similar in the past...

Could that be due to some feeders that would be considered as populated cells ?
