Re: 9.5.1 and Excel 2010
I found the Technote link below in the IBM website that addresses the issue. http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21444215&myns=swgimgmt&mynp=OCSS9RXT&mync=R I applied the fix and the client installed and it works. We do not have plans to deploy an unsupported IBM TM1 version...

Re: 9.5.1 and Excel 2010
How did u set it up? I created a shared folder on the TM1 production box where I pasted the files from the x86 bin folder. Then, from a Windows 7 client with Excel 2010, I created a shortcut of the TM1p.xla from the shared folder. When I execute the shortcut from the Windows client, excel opens and ...

9.5.1 and Excel 2010
Our entire organization is migrating to Windows 7 and Office 2010 in a couple of months. I know Excel 2010 is not supported but is there a way to make TM1 9.5.1 run in Excel 2010? ? I’ve renamed the TM1RibbonX.xlam and every time I launch the TM1 it keeps on returning an error that it cannot find ...

Re: Excel + DBRW() bug
We upgraded to TM1 9.4.1 FP3 from 9.4.1 MR1 and applied SP2 to Excel 2007 and started getting the "Error in macro Excel_TM1ServerConnectSCODE = 800010105. The server threw an exception" error. We do not use the ROW() and COLUMN() functions and all of the workbooks that crashed worked in 9....

Server Load
Our TM1 model is about 3 Gigs running on an x64 box with 36 Gigs of RAM and taking approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to load. As we start to forecast for the remaining months (October, November, and December) and depending on the number of versions we end up for each of those months, I expect the ...

Re: Incrementing Parameter in a SQL Datasource
Allan, At first, I was having a hard time conceptualizing the approach but once I’ve thought about it – it does make sense. Please correct me if I misunderstood your recommended approach. 1. Create Process 1 (P1) that will populate Cube 2 with the date string parameter. 2. Create Process 2 (P2) ...

Re: Incrementing Parameter in a SQL Datasource
I am able to pass a date parameter in the query. Where I am having difficulty is how to automate incrementing by 1 day until an end period. To give a better picture, I am building a headcount cube that will be populated on a daily basis by current period data for the current date from the HRMS syste...

Incrementing Parameter in a SQL Datasource
I have built TI processes using ODBC datasources with one date parameter. However, now I need to build a TI process that increments by 1 day from the Current Period. I figure I can use a loop but I do not know how to build the SQL statement in the advanced tab with the loop. Any assistance is greatl...

Re: Dimension Worksheet Gremlin
I came across a dimension error Technote (1041500) in the IBM website and, although not remotely similar to what I was experiencing, I decided to apply the recommended solution and it worked. The fix: 1. Recreate the dimension in another TM1 server. Copied the data from my old dimension worksheet an...

Dimension Worksheet Gremlin

Re: TM1 Web - Websheets Opens as Excel Files
The TM1 uninstall and reinstall did not fix the problem. However, when the login id used in the TM1 Excel Service was changed from the Service Account to the Local Service Account the websheets worked. We (including IBM) are still trying to determine whether it is a security issue at the box’s end...

Re: TM1 Web - Websheets Opens as Excel Files
Thank you zermatt and lotsaram for your inputs. I tried both restarting the excel service and bouncing the box and it did not fix the problem. I contacted IBM support and we are going to uninstall and reinstall the TM1-Web and see if it resolves the issue.

TM1 Web - Websheets Opens as Excel Files
Would appreciate any assistance in resolving a TM1 Web issue. Websheets in our development box opens as excel files and not as webpages. The excel files were loaded in TM1 Application folder using Server Explorer. Our system configuration is: Windows x64, TM1 9.4.1 FP3 & Excel 2007 SP 2. Thank you

Re: How to avoid that Excel turns into a bottleneck in TM1?
Based on my experience, Excel performance on client machines have always been an issue specially with huge spreadsheets and not even active forms. As a fix, we let our users RDC to the TM1 box and leverage the server’s large memory and computing power. What would normally take minutes to load on t...

Re: TM1 - disappearing data
