Thanks Paul
I've tried every way possible to connect to theses instances - to compare objects relationship / size / existence etc - without success. Just wondered if someone had managed it using an Admin Host prefix or something
I guess not

DBRW connection to two same named instances, on different servers
I may be having a mental block, but I am struggling I am using Excel to connect to two different servers - both having the same name - but on two different servers I have an instance called Fred - one on a Pre Prod box, the other on a Prod box. There is no chance of changing the name Normally, on th...

Re: Formatting error in TM1 Application Web
Double check what you are pasting - it might not be the format that is expected i.e. it might be 9562.235689, but masked in Excel to look like 9562 I've had an issue with copying from formatted Excel sheets into TM1Web, and the users had to use a hidden, linked, unformatted sheet as a workaround dur...

Re: PMT supported function in TM1 web
From the reference documentation This is a TM1® rules function, valid in both TM1 rules and TurboIntegrator processes. PAYMT returns the payment amount of an annuity based on a given initial value or principal, an interest rate, and a number of periods. An annuity is a series of payments made at equ...

Re: Dimension with multiple levels hierarchy
Hi Roasanero Not sure if this is the problem, as my grasp of Italian doesn't much go past the names of football teams! It looks like the consolidations are not unique so get rolled up into multiple places! For example, October is not unique to 2012 - there is one in 2011, 2010 etc. The same for week...

Re: Unable to Publish Data from cubes to Orcale database
I would try checking your variables first - are V1, V2 what you expect? Are they the correct format for where they are going to end up?
Also, try using the existing SQL statement but get rid of the EXPAND, and hardcode the variables - just to check that what you have written works

Just checking - the button you added and use to run the TI process, is it an Action Button or an Object with VBA code behind it
As far as I know VBA doesn't work with TM1Web

Re: Create a Dev and Prod Environment in the same server
Jorge
Can't you create DEV cubes and processes on the same instance - using TIs pointing at a DEV source system? You could prefix these with 'DEV_'. This would "sort of" give you two instances in one
Just an idea

Not sure if I am off beam here, but I had a problem with memory when I ran a process that was running a loop that created a new view with each pass Each view was destroyed after use, but the memory consumption went up I added the following to the cfg file and all has been well since MaximumViewSize=...

Re: TM1 10.1 - Trace Calculation behaviour
Thanks for the replies I've double / triple ( and all the other 'le's' ) checked that I am only tracing from one cell. The "feature" seems to work on some calculated results that are zeros, but not all - and I have tried different dimension combinations within the same cube, different cube...
