Production and Test environment

I always wanted to ask this question:
Does setting up a testing environment requires an additional server license?

Re: Remove Automatic Recalculate from View

I am talking about Cube Viewer.
When i save with the option on, it works as intended, meaning the values are automatically fetched when the view is opened.
When i save with the option off, the values are also automatically fetched when the view is opened.
I wonder why.

I am on 9.5.2 FP1 now.

Remove Automatic Recalculate from View

I find that if i save a view with automatic recalculate turn on, then try to save it with automatic recalculate turn off, it doesn't work.
Is it a bug? Or is as intended?

Re: Exponential Problem with Natural Consolidation

So in summary, it is not possible to get a zero, unless using the "safe divide" method in the rule itself?

Re: Natural Consolidation to calculate %

okay, so this is what i understood:
1. Alan is trying to explain, that we can round values using weightings instead of applying rounding method directly in rules.
2. There is no direct way to use natural consolidation to do a division.

Re: CellIsUpdateable

I am also facing the same problem. Sometimes, the rule must be evaluated, but sometimes it should be STET. But regardless of whether there is a rule applied, i still want to ViewZeroOut that particular area of data. Since we cannot specify any options in the ViewZeroOut method, i am still wondering ...

Exponential Problem with Natural Consolidation

Whats wrong with TM1 displaying values like (0,000000000000)? I have a natural consolidation [CD Amt], calculated using [Std Amt] - [Act Amt]. By calculating it manually, i get a value of 0. But the natural consolidation gives a (0,0000000000) value as shown in the attachment. I have checked that th...

Process Security

Hi, I have a end user process which calls a sub process. Inside the sub process, there is a CellPutS code. When end user runs the process, the sub process CellPutS code does not execute. But if i run it as admin, the code works. Question is, how can i overcome this without setting end user as admin?
