Problem with TM1 uninstall wizard
I'm trying to uninstall TM1 v10.2.2 on a test server, but when I run the uninstall wizard the packages list is blank. How do I get past this? Thanks.

Re: Local server not working after SSL certificate change
Thanks BrianL, that WORKED!!! Apparently this cogstartup.xml file is only used by a local server. Our "remote" TM1 server and admin server are configured to use the v2 certificate. I just couldn't figure out how to get a "local" admin server to use it. Thanks again. I would have ...

Re: Local server not working after SSL certificate change
Thanks Tom. That's what I was afraid of. There were several ways to handle the SSL certificate expiration and we chose the v2 option. I support about 130 TM1 Perspectives/Client users and this was the easiest approach for all of them to implement. I may have to revisit at a later time if a local ser...

Re: Local server not working after SSL certificate change
I am talking about launching a local server using Perspectives by clicking the "start local server" item on the File menu of Server Explorer and pointing to a database directory that is on my local C drive. And a local server actually does launch a local Admin Server as an application, but...

Local server not working after SSL certificate change
I cannot get my local server to work after changing to the v2 SSL certificate. Remote server connection works fine.
We are running version 10.2.2 FP4 and are configured to use the 2048-bit certificates via the tm1ca_v2 file method.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thank you.

Re: Perspectives can't connect after 10.2.2 upgrade
Thank you very much Declan. Leaving the firewall turned on, all I had to do was to allow inbound connections within the domain. I knew it was something simple.

Perspectives can't connect after 10.2.2 upgrade
I have just installed TM1 Server version 10.2.2. But I cannot connect to the new server with Perspectives or Architect on remote machines; however, Architect installed on the server does connect. I have updated the admin host on the remote machines accordingly, but it still doesn't see the new serve...

Re: TM1 and Windows 7
Thanks dubs.
I have tried once before installing TM1 on a Windows 7 machine, but could never get it to work. The user ended up having to downgrade back to XP. However, that will not be an option from our IT department for very much longer.
Thanks again.

Re: TM1 and Windows 7
...and there have been people on this forum stating that they have TM1 working with version 9.0SP3. So, if 9.0 will work, then 9.4.1 certianly should too.

Re: TM1 and Windows 7
I know not to expect any help from IBM. That is why I am posting on this forum. I have a couple of contacts that have successfully installed 9.4.1FP3 on Windows 7, but they have not seen these errors. We all know from experience that what "will work" is often a lot different from what is &...

TM1 and Windows 7
Will TM1 9.4.1FP3 work on Windows 7. According to the documentation, it is not "officially" supported until 9.5.1. I have a user who tried to install it and is getting the two Visual Basic error messages below. "System Error &H80040111 (-2147221231). ClassFactory cannot supply req...

Re: Connecting TI to Teradata
When I launch WinSQL, it asks which datasource I want to use and for a userid and password. This is the same id and password I enter into TI.

Re: Connecting TI to Teradata
The connection is a system connection.
I am connecting to the TM1 Server using Terminal Services Client. WinSQL is loaded directly on the server and the query works fine. I don't think it's a problem with the connection.
Thank you.

Connecting TI to Teradata
I'm having trouble running a simple Teradata query in TI. This query works in WinSQL on the TM1 Server. SELECT * FROM SDWP.ACCT_DAY A WHERE A.ACCT_MONTH = '200901' However, it returns an "unable to open connection to database" error in TI. In my processes that download from other ODBC sour...
