Thanks Alan. Funny thing is that I am using Excel 2003 and the format saved should have been xls. And when I did a save as the file name was showing "Account.xdi" and the save as type was "Microsoft Office Excel Workbook (*.xls)". So I thought that this doesn't explain it. Howev...
