Re: TM1 Stability

We are having similar issues and having difficulty isolating it

Timing could have been when introducing windows 7 clients or a vmware upgrade to 4.2

Re: Probably a stupid feeder question

Thankyou.

Using \ I still have no values appear in a consolidated view. If i use '/' the values appear correctly but i get some undefined (correct behaviour).

Probably a stupid feeder question

Hi there, I have created a rule that feeds and works as I expect: SKIPCHECK; ['Op Sup Ratio'] = ['Total Operator'] / ['Total Support']; FEEDERS; ['Total Operator'] =>['Op Sup Ratio']; ['Total Support'] =>['Op Sup Ratio']; However when I add an if statement the consolidated values are no longer shown...

Re: Copying data?

Gregor Koch wrote:Hi,

Yes there is. You can use Spreading ('Relative Proportional Spread') in the cubeviewer. Given you have consolidations for all elements in each dimension (or at least the ones you want to copy) it is one 'spread'.

Cheers
Perfect thats exactly what I was after, Cheers.

Copying data?

Hi there,

Is there a way to copy data within the cube browser? For example if a user wanted to populate a forecast or budget version with the prior year actuals?

At the moment I do this via TI, but it would be great if the users could do it themselves.

TIA.

Re: Multicurrency best practice

Thanks again for all the feedback. I am new TM1, but have used other OLAP tools in the past. I was indeed missing the skipcheck, but now understand and am using it. I was also missing the N: and my feeders were incorrect, although without the N: the feeders were working? I think my understanding of ...

Combining dimensions

Hi there,

I currently have two account dimensions, PL and BS, in 2 separate cubes, also PL and BS.

I am currently consolidating them into one Master cube. Is there an easy way to create a new dimension which is a merged copy of these two dimensions?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Multicurrency best practice

Thanks for the input. I created a test cube and a sample rule, and the performance is so bad it is unusable. Am I missing something? The cube has 9 dimensions: - Local_base - Currency - Version - Year - Month - Entity - Location - Product - Account (PL+BS) The Local_base dimension is: - Local -- Loc...

Re: Multicurrency best practice

I think that would get awfully messy, as I would need to duplicate every account I have in the measures dimension (It is a P&L and BS cube). I was thinking of having two additional dimensions: 'currency', and another, say 'curradj' for the purpose of this example. currency would comprise: aud, u...

Multicurrency best practice

Hi there,

I am currently looking at re-implementing my master cube to handle multi-currency. At this stage it will only be 2 currencies but will likely expand in the near future.

Is there a best practice method for doing this?

Thanks in advance.

9.4 MR1 Admin server ssl error

Hi there, I recently installed 9.4 MR1 on a test machine and am having problems with the admin server. Both the admin server and a server are set as services to start automatically. The admin server starts and then the server starts. When I attempt to connect through perspectives I get the error msg...
