Re: RDC Profile Corruption
We thought we had the solution by deleting the RDC profile however the problem still persisted. One thing was apparent, folks who were windows admin did not have the issue. To test, I removed myself from the admin group and made myself a regular user –and presto, I started experiencing the problem...

RDC Profile Corruption
We have a dedicated X64 box with 32 gig of RAM for TM1 and we are on version 9.4 MR1 and using Excel 2007. Because the box only runs TM1 and has the memory and horse power, we let users RDC to the box to do TM1 work using Excel. Recently, it has been becoming frequent, users would not be able to lau...

Re: Excel 2007 Sleeping Cells
I am relieved to find out that my users are not the only one experiencing this issue and that it may not be a TM1 but an excel problem. Since TM1 uses Excel as a front end, how can we clearly determine whether the problem is with TM1 or Excel? Another frequent error message I get from excel is “Ex...

Excel 2007 Sleeping Cells
We are running TM1 9.4 MR1 on a X64 box and using Excel 2007. On occasions, I will have users reporting a “sleeping cell issueâ€, that is a cell or group of cells in excel with valid and verified TM1 formula will display #value. Pressing F9 will still display the #value but if users go to the spe...

Re: TM1 and MAC Compatibility
I followed Allan's recommendation and sent a plain vanilla worksheet with a TM1 formula and it crashed when opened in a MAC. We considered deploying the worksheet through TM1 Web but since our TM1 solution is a temporary fix for a current problem, we decided the cost of additional licenses was not j...

TM1 and MAC Compatibility
We deployed Excel 2007 worksheet templates where users enter data. On a weekly basis, these spreadsheets are emailed back to a central location where it is then uploaded to TM1. The data entry sections of these spreadsheets do not have TM1 formulas, data is uploaded by the superusers turning on a se...

Re: StatsByCube
I agree, I would prefer TI, but the main user requirement is real time calculations (they do not want to run the risk of forgeting to run a process). However, I did modify some rules and fixed some intra cube feeders from 1 source cube and the changes improved the intial view load time from 45 sec t...

Intracube Feeders
TM1 Version: 9.4 MR1 Microsoft Windows Server 2003 x64 SP2 When I started learning TM1, I was told that I must have feeders when I use “Skipcheckâ€. However, recently, I was introduced to a concept that if I write a rule that references data from another cube I do not need a feeder from the sourc...
