Re: x64 tm1 service teminated unexpectedly!!
Opened a support ticket with IBM. They had me add additional logging in the tm1s-log.properties since no dump files were present... log4j.logger.TM1.Commit=DEBUG log4j.logger.TM1.API=DEBUG log4j.logger.TM1.API.Parameters=INFO log4j.logger.TM1.Chore=DEBUG log4j.logger.TM1.Process=DEBUG log4j.logger.T...

Re: x64 tm1 service teminated unexpectedly!!
We've encountered this issue of the TM1 service terminated unexpectedly 3 times within the last 24 hours. We've ruled out antivirus & backup. No log entry on the TM1server.log file. It also didn't create a DMP/TMP file(s). Our x64 tm1 server does have 32GB of ram using Server2003 R2. Any ideas.....

Not sure if this helps, have you tried restarting the excel service on box that host TM1Web? We have encountered issues with slices/snapshots and restarting the excel service does the trick for us.

Re: How many people use TM1 with Citrix?
We've been using TM1 with Citrix since we implemented TM1 about 3 yrs ago. We have had no major issues with speed. When we did encounter slowness ie response time from TM1, it was due to other application using the citrix box resources. We have installed TM1 client on 4 citrix boxes.

Server Spec
Folks, I was informed by our IT dept that our TM1 blade server is up for an upgrade. Our current TM1 blade has 2 dual core cpu with 32GB of ram. The OS is Windows2003 64bit. We have less than 200 users. What would be an ideal spec in terms of cpu & ram for our new TM1 blade server? CPU - quad or...

Re: TM1 and Citrix
George,
I'm not sure if Citrix is officially supported. When we selected TM1, we had Applix folks help us implement the product over Citrix. It has been over 3 years now & we haven't had any major issues TM1 over Citrix.

Re: Multiple instances of TM1 on one multi core server
We currently have 2 servers (dev & production). Each server is running 2 TM1 service/database. Both servers are 64bit, 16GB of ram each, & 2 dual core each. The biggest improvement for us is the start up time of our TM1 service when we switch from 9.1 SP3 to 9.4 MR1 FP1. On 9.4 MR1 FP1, it t...
