Re: Dimensions Missing From Rule
Hi Thanks for the reply. I'll probably go with putting the values required on the left side of the rule and removing the specific references to these values in the feeder. I'm still wondering though if it is common for the feeders to contain references to specific elements that will override referen...

Dimensions Missing From Rule
Hi I've been trying to understand a rule wriiten by someone else in our system. The rule is of the form ['610000']=N:DB....etc The rule works but what's puzzling me is that there are two dimensions missing on the left that do not exist in the cube on the right. I thought you had to put values in for...

Re: Using A Consolidation In A Rule
Ok thanks.
I've had a little go at skipcheck and feeders but my knowledge is not too great.
I'll have a browse through the forum and learn some more!

Re: Using A Consolidation In A Rule
Hi Thanks very much for the reply qml. Very useful. I thought the elements of the consolidation would be used but as you say it picks up the consolidation itself. I've tried using ELISPAR and it works fine. I also had a go at using an attribute as follows :- [] = N: IF( ATTRS('Nominals',!Nominals, '...

Using A Consolidation In A Rule
Hi I'm fairly new to rule writing in TM1 and have a question about some rules in a system I'm working on. In some of the cubes there are rules written as follows :- [{'010112','010114','010115'}] = N:DB('PandLCube',!Nominals,!Year,!Month,!Version) * 0.7 The idea is to populate the three nominal code...

Re: Active Form Losing named Ranges
Hi Thanks lotsaram and tomok for your replies which have pointed me in the right direction. I've now changed my named ranges to only refer to cells well outside the data range such as :- =OFFSET(Sheet1!$C$1000,-1000+235,0,53,1) This refers to C1000 which is well outside the data range but the offset...

Re: Active Form Losing named Ranges
Hi Thanks for the reply. I've now got to the stage of creating a new Active Form from my cube but have not created a chart. I've just created two named ranges, one referencing cells within the data and the other outside the data range. E.g =Sheet1!$C$58:$C$61 inside the data and =Sheet1!$DT$118:$DU$...

Active Form Losing named Ranges
Hi I'm new to TM1 and have got as far as creating a cube and an Active Form from it (Cognos Express Xcelerator 9.5) I have added a chart to the active form using named ranges to define the data. This works fine until I make a selection from one of the dimensions (I'm changing the country). It has th...
