Sending TM1ProcessError file vie e-mail

Hi all, I have been a long time listener of this forum and the old one. Asked a few questions over time and always received valuable input from this community; so thanks for past and future input. I remember reading a post a while back, on how to e-mail a TM1Processerror log file . Unfortunately I a...

Re: Kick off a chore with an action button

Thanks, this helped. I have now created a shell process that executes both processes and I can now kick it off with an action button.

Kick off a chore with an action button

Hi, Is it possible to kick off a chore with an action button? I have a few processes that I grouped in a chore (but do not schedule it). So up until now I have kicked off the chore either from TM1Web or the TM1 server explorer. Now I would like to kick it off from a websheet in Tm1Web using an Actio...

Re: Export to Excel Setup

Hi, I started to experience similiar issues recently. In my case it is the new VPN software that we use that is changing the settings in the LAN Settings under Internet Options in IE. So changing the LAN Settings in IE depending if I am in the office or working from home will usually do the trick. H...

Re: Identifying user that launched a TI process

Thank you Alan.

I was able to get it to work and I now also found the reference in the technical bulletin that this function now works in TI with 9.1. SP3.

Re: Identifying user that launched a TI process

I really would like to capture the user and put it into my cube "ProcessLog" that captures information about the processes. That way I can see at a glance when this process was last ran and who initiated the process. This would also make it possible to access this info via TM1Web. I work f...

Identifying user that launched a TI process

Hi there, I would like to know if there is a way to capture who ran a particular TI process. Currently I have a cube call ProcessLogs that capture information about a process (i.e. start time, end time, elapsed time, number of records processed, etc) I would like to capture and log who ran the proce...

TM1 and SQL Server

Hi, I know that is relatively simple (if there is such a thing) to pull data from an SQL Server DB with a piece of SQL, the proper database driver, and the proper access, using a TI process (I have seen some threads in this forum talking about this). I know this is possible for multiple types of dat...

Re: TM1 Comparison to Essbase

Hi all, Most of my experience is with TM1(Application development including cube design, TI processes, rules and websheets). In regards to Essbase the only experience I have is using the Excel addin and retrieve data. I am interested in learning more about Essbase as we are using both Tm1 and Essbas...
